David Lubin, Ph.D., BCBA-D

​Dr. Lubin is the co-founder and head of clinical affairs with the Children's Center for Development and Behavior.  With over 30 years of experience in the field of behavior analysis,  Dr. Lubin obtained his initial clinical and academic experience in 1980 while attending the University of Florida's Behavioral Psychology Program.  He went on to study at Auburn University where he continued his work in clinical and engineering applications of behavior analysis while earning a Masters of Science and Doctorate degrees.  During this time,  he also chose an emphasis in the study of techniques for facilitation of learning curves, clinical neuropsychology, neuroanatomy and behavior engineering technology.  Dr. Lubin held positions with Army Intelligence (Army Research Institute,  Fort Benning).  And NASA (McDonnell-Douglas Space Systems) where he lead teams in the design of user-systems and automated training simulators.   Dr. Lubin has been an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University for over 25 years teaching courses in both experimental and applied behavior analysis.  As the lead clinician for the Children's Center for Development and Behavior,  he provides daily staff and program supervision,  however,  he remains a 'hands-on' clinician providing initial contact intakes,  assessments,  program development and intervention.

Shana Williams, Psy.D.

Dr. Williams is the Director of Psychological Services at Children’s Center for Development and Behavior.  She is a licensed clinical psychologist and has been practicing in South Florida since 1993.  Her specialties include the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems in children and adolescents.  Dr. Williams has extensive experience in working with families to create a more positive home and school environment.  She has a collaborative style with parents,  grandparents,  teachers and school personnel, medical professionals and other important people in the Child’s life. This style enhances individual abilities across developmental stages and life experiences. Dr. Williams has presented and lectured on a variety of psychotherapeutic issues including parenting skills, professional ethics and assessment methodology and interpretation, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and coping with difficult children. She is accredited with creating stress management programs for several organizations including U.S. Army installations.  Dr. Williams is a court appointed expert and advocate for Deaf and non-verbal clients. Dr. Williams completed her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Mental Health Program.  She was an adjunct professor at Carlos Albizu University, Miami, Florida where she received her doctorate. She is also affiliated with the American Psychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, Broward Mental Health Association, Non-Commissioned Officer Association, National Association of the Deaf, and Psi Chi, National Honor Society

Arian Rodriguez de Armas

​Arian Rodriguez de Armas is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst who has been working with children and youth with disabilities in private schools,  home and clinical setting since 2017 when he joined the team at Children’s Center for Development & Behavior.  Arian received his Associate in Arts degree from Miami Dade College,  and then he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Cum Laude) at Florida International University in 2017.  Arian’s work is inspired by the ideals that we all must be treated with kindness and respect.  Having empathy is one of the most important pillars towards a world without discrimination,  it must be practiced in every aspect of our life.

Andres Gomez

​Andres Gomez is an Assistant Behavior Analyst at Children's Center for Development and Behavior.  With a Bachelor's in Psychology from FIU focused in ABA,  Mr. Gomez has 3 years of experience working with children in both school and home environments of all age groups.  Mr. Gomez is currently applying to Master's Programs to continue in the field of ABA with the goal of becoming a BCBA.

Bryan Nunez

​Bryan Nanez began working with Children’s Center for Development and Behavior in summer of 2016.  He started his coursework for Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida International University and graduated in summer of 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. By 2018 Bryan was a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst practicing in multiple schools around North Miami under the supervision of Dr. Lubin.  Bryan is currently enrolled in the Ball State University Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis program working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
